Native to Central and South America, this plant typically grows in swampy areas and is often referred to as a “Money Tree,” believed by some to support manifestations of wealth and abundance. It features a braided trunk that supports multiple stems, each adorned with 5–7 delicate, glossy leaves.
This plant thrives in bright, indirect light, and the top inch of soil should be allowed to dry completely before watering. It prefers warm, draft-free environments and spaces that inspire creativity, such as offices, yoga rooms, or reading nooks. Best suited for patient, organized, and attentive plant parents, this plant requires a balanced and consistent level of care. It is not recommended for those who tend to overwater, underwater, or forget their plants.
Note: This plant is toxic to pets.
