The elegant jade green jade plant is native to South Africa and is found growing alongside other drought tolerant succulents. This minimalist drought tolernt plant is a succulent shrub with a sturdy, tree-like structure, known for its fleshy, oval-shaped leaves and thick, woody stems. The oval shaped leaves are known to store water and the plant herself symbolizes prosperity and longevity.
While the leaves are usually stout in nature, mature plants can resemble miniature bonsai trees due to their upright branching and sculptural form. Keep this plant in bright indirect light for best growth and water every 2-3 weeks or when the plant leaves begin to flatten out.
